Fabulously tasty pizza, fast and friendly service and the new permanent location meant this was the first place we went to on our week long stay in Ullapool , I had the Black pudding pizza and the gf had the chicken tikka which were some of the best pizzas weve had with the thin crust we prefer ,so good we went back twice as it was a 2min walk from our holiday home , nice to see the pizza oven front and centre when you walk in as its the star of the show , well recommended

Great food, excellent value for money and really good service. My pizza had ripped slightly in the oven, so my partners pizza came first. They explained and not long after they came with my new pizza, gave me the slightly ripped one on the house (in a box already) and apologised again. Great experience here, can definitely recommend!

My wife and I visited Ullapool while staying nearby in Garve and the night before visiting we did some Google map research to see what food was on offer. Discovering Oak & Grain, and being a big pizza lover myself, we chose to visit here (reading that they had recently moved from a mobile unit to this permanent premises). Opting for the Black Pudding pizza (13.50), I watched as it was freshly prepared right there and then, slid into the oven (it's so satisfying to watch your food cook) and then boxed within a matter of a few short minutes. This is how you know it's fresh! We sat nearby in our car and did "the big reveal" as people usually do before tucking in. The pizza was absolutely top quality and exactly how I think neopolitan pizza should look and taste like. Perfectly thin base, big crispy puffy edges, no raw dough and just a pleasure to eat with every flavor coming through (sweet caramelised onions, hearty black pudding and tasty cheese). I've only found two pizza places at this quality in Scotland (the other being Dough Man's Land, Glasgow) and both are now my joint favorite. Overall, absolutely brilliant pizza and I will definitely be heading here when I'm next up to do some walking in the area. Excellent stuff guys, keep the quality up there!
Incredible proper Neapolitan pizza gaff, probably the most northerly in the UK, almost unbelievable it is here! This is the real deal, beautiful dough and delicious toppings. Both eat in or takeaway. This is not ache and groan - this is Oak and Grain! Cheers
Pizza is excellent - it's so tasty and fresh. The service is great, even on a Saturday at 6:30 it only took them 15 minutes to prepare my order. Best place to eat in Ullapool.
5 Stars – Simply outstanding pizza! Dropped into Oak & Grain on a visit to Ullapool and had their margherita – hands down one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The base was light and beautifully charred from the wood-fired oven, the tomato sauce was rich and flavourful, and the mozzarella was perfectly melted. Simple done right, and absolutely delicious. The new space is really nicely done – warm, welcoming, and full of charm. The staff were friendly and clearly passionate about the food. You can tell a lot of care goes into what they’re making. If you’re in Ullapool and craving proper pizza, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back.
